Here are a few more pictures taken at Mueller State Park located near Divide. Mueller is a beautiful park with a lot of educational opportunities. We heard about the colorful history of Mueller by a Park Ranger on Sunday night. Originally occupied by the Ute tribes. The gold rush drifted into the area from Cripple Creek, located a short distance away. During the depression, bootleggers and their stills were located throughout the area. It’s high meadows have hosted elk, deer, mountain lion, moose, many birds and small animals. And, of course, cattle.
