Texas Wildflowers with new digs

It’s a Kwik Kamper, made to be pulled behind a motorcycle.  Looking to make our weekend roadtrips a little cheaper.  Definitely the fuel was cheaper than the 3/4 ton pickup.  We did have trouble finding a camp spot.  Can’t just pull into a Wal Mart.  We ended up in a Texas State park to the north of Hill Country.  We will need to plan ahead a little more.

Hopefully, I’ll have some pictures.  So far we are still at the campground where Dan has found someone with similar interests.  That’s OK, we’re in no hurry.

Charging problems

Doesn’t it seem like plugging things in each evening takes longer as the years pass?

Not only do more things need charging, each item needs  a different charging set up.   One would think cell phones would use the same batteries.  I have two cameras.  The old one requires a different plug in than the newer one.  Dan’s laptop computer has an exclusive cord as well.

We have taken this whole charging thing one step further—tools.  And, similarly rechargeable flashlights.

Someone could make a lot of money by marketing a type of quick attach identification label for cords so they can be quickly matched to their partner.  Maybe something like this would help our current situation.  Two things, including a really nice flashlight and Dan’s cell phone are separated from their chargers. It’s frustrating.  I definitely need to get organized on this issue.

Surprise Snow

It  was in the forecast, but who would believe it would come down for three hours.  It was pretty, though.  I am sure it will be gone by noon tomorrow—the nice thing about snow this time of year.

I have a hankering to see Blue Bonnets in Texas. According to the web site, they are approaching prime viewing.  The best location is in Texas Hill Country which is north of Houston.   How about the Texas Blue Bonnet Wine Trail in the same area?  A little far for a weekend roadtrip, unfortunately.
