Several years ago, I did this post every Tuesday. It was sort of fun. These were two of my favorite, taken in June and July of 2006:
I thought it might be fun to bring this Tuesday post back for a while. I’m posting a “one” picture this time. Fitting because Skye is No.1 dog in this house. So, here is today’s Tuesday Tally in our old 87 Olds snow machine (which is another story)

Stull United Methodist Church had a Community Blood Drive today. Their schedule was full. At least two people I talked to while waiting to give said it was their first time.
Giving blood, if you are able, is certainly a simple way to help. I asked the phlebotomist who worked with me if their donations were up. Yes, they were, although blood for Haiti is given through the American Red Cross. Blood is always needed far and near.
Since I am O Positive, they talked me into giving platelets. No problem, it just takes longer. We got half way through the procedure and the machine made a warning type noise. I thought there must be something wrong with my blood. No, just something wrong with the machine. So, it was halted immediately and my incomplete donation thrown out.
Too bad. Next time.
