Mom's Day

I was thinking about Mom today as I drove the route. I haven't been to town to buy her a Mothers Day card yet. Sometimes I make my own cards but finding the right words to write is hard and Hallmark does such a good job.

Mom turned 90 a month ago. Her world is small. However, I could tell her she is beautiful in mind and spirit. I could tell her she is the best Mom any girl could ever have because she loved me & my brother, she loved life and loved Dad--and loved to laugh. And, maybe most importantly of all, I could tell her how she treated her family, friends and herself with respect and dignity.... I will tell her she is loved.

I will make my own card.

One Room Schools

Yesterday we attended a family reunion near Junction City. On our return home we took a picture of an one room school along old 40 west of Junction City. It is a beautiful building but sadly neglected.

I will be posting history on this building. However, I am not finding this information on the internet. Keep posted.

Dandy Lions & my garden--frosted Chip Pics Posted by Hello

Frosty web Posted by Hello

Yard art is fun anyway, but this one is especially good. I will put it in my garden--when it recovers from the frosts we've had the past few nights. Thanks Roger! Posted by Hello
