I have dreamt up this town in my mind and was randomly thinking about it the other day when I found this on Google.

Would love to pick your brain sometime about this. Where was the town located in relation to the lay of the lake? Where would the grain elevator be sticking up out of the water if it were it still there today? Do you have any other pictures of this crazy historic event?

So cool and thank you for sharing! I know there are tons of people out there who would love to know more about this.

PS - I just edited my original response to this article because I had to let you know that I know your nephew, Taylor! We went to school and were Beta’s together at KSU. Small world!

Thanks, Linda!

EHEvan Hallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15591749250081337208noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8192152.post-59557586337404800092018-03-05T12:27:53.280-06:002018-03-05T12:27:53.280-06:00This comment has been removed by the author.Evan Hallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15591749250081337208noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8192152.post-86699680680165871772007-11-10T21:24:00.000-06:002007-11-10T21:24:00.000-06:00Came over from Prairiepoint to read the land down ...Came over from Prairiepoint to read the land down under...made me home sick. I grew up in NE KS and my dad was a state grain inspector. Saw a lot of those small town elevators. Enjoyed the post.
QuiltcatQuiltCathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03177127579150258890noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8192152.post-58658174282319203292007-04-10T17:19:00.000-05:002007-04-10T17:19:00.000-05:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
