Tale tell sky
This was taken late this afternoon and is an indication of our day. Blue sky, high light clouds, dark rain coming in and down in the lower right hand corner, rain falling.
One thing is certain with all of this wet weather we are having here. We need to work on our driveway. We have a regular creek running and it is washing everything in its way.

One Nice Crappie
We should have weighed it. Marc spent most of the evening working on reels. Everyone was putting their stuff away when he said he was going to cast a couple of times.
Just like on television, he caught and released. Which brings me to a question. Why do the fishing guys always catch and release and the hunting guys always nail their prey. Just once I would like to see the fishing guys keep one of those lunkers.

Floods and flu
I realize Swine Flu is serious. But, is it me or does anyone else feel coverage on it has become a media pandemic?
I did hear something interesting this afternoon. A health official said now that Swine Flu cases are being reported in the United States, the numbers will grow. On one hand, I understand what he is saying. People who are sick will go to their doctor and be diagnosed. I just don’t know how concerned I should be.
As to floods—so far, no water to speak of out of the banks. All the little tributaries are running full, also ponds. It is almost as if there is a slight bubble on top, like a glass too full of water. That is how everything looked today.
