Butterfly Crop Art progressing

I received an email from Chip of Monarch Watch today. Recently I wrote about the crop art created by Stan Herd. It has been planted and is located between Lawrence and Eudora.

It is expected to reach its full potential by the end of June when the new Pollinator stamp will be issued by the USPS.

Click here for the web site with pictures. The butterfly will be a southern dogface replica.

Anyone close by should make this a must see. I expect it to be very colorful.

A bear welcome

Our Colorado family lost a big pine in their front yard. They have hired an artist to chainsaw a bear holding a sign. Will post progress as we receive it.
